i was just reading other people's diaries and i thought to myself, "how dare they not update?!?!" i mean, here i am, bored at work, and only like 6 peole have updated. dammit. unacceptable. then i thought, "hmmm, i didn't update either."

oops.

i think it was lawrence who was talking about the sniper the other day and all the stupid media about the attacks. i meant to mention that cnn had a program on.... wednesday night (i couldnt watch it because, of course, i was still at work.) about whether or not the media was ruining the investigation and to paraphrase, "how much coverage is too much." does anyone find that to be just a wee bit ironic. so they don't have anything new (or as it turns out, accurate) to talk about so they have to talk about their talking. oh my god. and this is why television is stupid.

in other news, my mother called during will and grace last night. i think she calls me on thursday nights just to try to ruin my weekend. i told her i would come out next weekend. i have something to do that night so i know i won't be able to spend the entire day with her. thank god. you know, she acts so indignant when i tell her i have other plans, but has the woman ever hopped in her car to visit me? nooooo... as if im the only one in the family with a drivable car and 2 working legs.

her calling also meant that i missed will and grace. grrr. not that i really care. it's a dumb show, but dammit.

im thinking about getting a cell phone. when i move it would be nice to have so i didnt have to get a land line, but im not moving until may.... so... i still have plenty of time to think about it really. but i would like to be able to call people long distance. and i dont think meg and i really need it on our land line because the only people she calls long distance are her parents and she uses her cell phone for that anyway. and hell, i just dont call people. although, i think i would, if i had long distance.

newsflash...................... i finally got an answer back from anthem about my classes. they will not pay for them since they are for a non-degree seeking program. i have to check and see if my manager will pay for them out of her training budget. weeee!
