well.... i had a really good weekend actually. =) on saturday, i woke up early. 8am. uh huh, early. i went to walmart to pick up kitty supplies; litter, litter box, some food, a scoop, some treats, et al, and put some gas in my car. then i headed up to my dad's mom's house and picked her up. she accompanied me to the pound and we picked out a kitty for my mom for christmas. the kitty's name was squeak and she is a black and orange calico cat. she's 6 years old and she spent the entire hour and a half drive from my grandma's house to my mom's curled up under my seat. weird cat. as far as i know, she and my mom are getting along just fine. hopefully this cat will deflect some of the attention that my mom has been giving me. then on sunday... well that was laundry day. no big whoop. yay for clean clothes. yay clean clothes. then today was the best day ever. i had to go to butler to pick up a transcript because an insurance claim from april came back and the insurance company isnt paying it because they say that i wasn't a student. so i had to go and get a transcript. i also needed some stamps so i thought i would also stop by the mail room and see what was going on. well... as it seems. tons. 1. my old boss, marsha, is pregnant with her first baby. yay for marsha. and it turns out that the crazy woman who works there is going crazy again and is rear ending other cars with her car and thusly she is missing a lot of work. so they are going to fire her. and the best part about all that is, they want to hire me. there are bad things about going back to workfor butler mail room. as in, i would make less money. but the best thing about it is that i would get to go back to school for free or close to it and I LOVED MY JOB THERE!!! as we all no, im none too content with my job at the insuance company so whatever. id work a thousand part time jobs just to not have to deal with insurance again. anyway, nothing is set in stone just yet, so i will just sit here and wait until they fire the crazy one. but that just thrilled my very soul today. and i had a grilled cheese sandwich for lunch and it was the yummiest thing ever. i swear. grilled cheese and grape kool-aid. mmmmmmmm.
