i know a weekend update.... you're as shocked as i am, but since i have to be at work and sitting here with my thumb stuck up my ass ifigured i might as well update. why am i at work on a saturday you ask? well due to federal law, precert departments have to be open at least one day on the weekend or they are fined. of course, just so you know where we're coming from, the hospitals don't staff their review departmetns on the weekned. so in essence we sit here and field customer service questions for people who can't read their cards. but enough with that... on to brighter things like spending money and losing weight. i totally splurged last night. it was hella good times. after i got off work, i picked up brad and josh and we went to borders. i love borders. i could have spent hours in there. but i didn't. i bought "libra" by don delillo and a book on slow cooker recipes for my dad for valentine's day. note: i will not be buying the slow cooker, but i was nice enough to buy him a book about the qualities of having one. yeah, im all about the horse before the cart. after that we went to half price books. there, i bought "my antonia" for 50 cents and some other book for a dollar. i also bought three cds. i bought a live INXS cd, the toad the wet sprocket greatest hits cd and shea seeger "may street project." i also bought some lotion at meijer and some dinner. tonight, i plan on going grocery shopping with my dad. good times. we're having pizza for dinner. mmmpizza. in other news, i lost the weight i gained back at christmas and im joining weight watchers on monday. im looking for a decently priced used treadmill, so if any of you have one and live anywhere near indianapolis, let me know, ok. mike will start touring again soon, so you all need to go out and support his music. and tell him betsy the cheesecake girl sent you. i know for sure he will be at jammin java on the 16th and in PA in Bryn Mawr on the 22nd and the ram's head on the 23rd and in Indy at birdy's on the 25th. but other than that, you need to check out the website once he's released more dates. well i get to log out here in 10 minutes, so i need ta scoot. bye!
